Aiming to up your game when it comes to your small business social media channels in 2023? Perhaps you already have a goal in mind but if you don't then here are some social media goals to incorporate into your plans across 2023.
Analyse regularly and work smarter Build in time on a monthly basis to analyse your content, what worked, what didn't and what are your audience telling you they want to see more or less of. This will help you improve your overall content and give your audience more of what they love about your brand.
Interact with your audience more Whether that's building in weekly live sessions via Instagram, joining some communities on Facebook or carrying out polls on LinkedIn, make it a two-way conversation with your audience and it will feel less and less like shouting into the ether when you post.
Take a proactive approach to your content plan Put an end to last-minute scrambling for content in 2023, don't get me wrong, a reactive approach means you can jump on trends and current affairs quickly, but don't knock a weekly planning session where you sit down to really think about and plan your content.
Prioritise consistency The biggest tip I have for brands looking to engage more of their audience and grow their following is to be consistent. Nobody wants to follow a brand that post once in a blue moon, whether it's posting twice a week, three times or every day (props to you if so!) consistency is key.
Show your face If one thing has been made clear over these last few years with the rise of TikTok and Reels it's that people LOVE engaging with people. Give your brand a face and a personality and don't be afraid to show it.
Try something new Never ventured into video before? Give it a go. Want to experiment with Pinterest? Go for it. Don't be afraid to venture outside of your comfort zone and try something new either on one of your existing platforms or on a brand new one.
What are your business resolutions for 2023?
